At long last, we are delighted to announce that our community share offer will launch in one week's time - on Friday 10th September 2021. Our share offer has been reviewed by the Community Shares Unit and awarded the 'Community Shares Standard Mark' which means that our offer complies with the eight nationally recognised Community Shares standards of good practice.
The full prospectus and associated documents will be released on Fri 10th, and we are hosting a wee launch event at the village hall that evening to celebrate and offer locals the opportunity to come along and find out more about the share offer. Info on this will go out to locals shortly.
The share offer will have a small number of non-resident membership opportunities as well. These will have a higher minimum investment amount and full details of eligibility and how to invest will be provided in the share offer documents released next Friday.
This share offer, combined with our application to the Scottish Land Fund will form the backbone of our fundraising efforts and it is really exciting - and a bit nerve-wracking - to finally see it come together and begin fundraising. So, keep an eye out on our social media pages for info in the coming week...it's going to be busy!
